SILVACORE alloys incorporate Wolverine Joining Technologies' SILVALOY® high silver brazing alloys and Omni Technologies' SBF21 non-hazardous, environmentally-friendly, non-hygroscopic flux into one unique product. This eliminates the need for a separate solid wire brazing product and a paste or powder flux. The flux is protected inside the wire and there is no binder to burn nor carbon contamination of the joint.
SILVACORE's world class manufacturing improves braze consistency and reduces product waste by presenting the joint with the same 'flux to metal' ratio every time. SILVACORE's unique product design reduces manufacturing costs and improves process cycle time. The traditional 2-step, labor intensive process of applying flux then brazing with solid wire is reduced to one simple and easy step by using SILVACORE.
SILVACORE supports Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives by applying only the precise amount of flux needed to acheive dependable, high quality braze joints.
SILVACORE A38T, SILVACORE A45, SILVACORE A50N, and SILVACORE A56T contain a non-hazardous, non-hygroscopic flux core. Sufficient ductility remains in the product to allow for generous bending of the wire to reach areas of difficult access.
SILVACORE® is designed such that the flux melts several hundred degrees before the alloy, flows onto the surfaces to be joined, and prepares the surfaces for the subsequent melting of the braze alloy.

ALUMICORE A718 (BAlSi-4) is Wolverine Joining Technologies' flux cored aluminum brazing alloy designed specifically for joining aluminum and aluminum alloys.
ALUMICORE A718 contains a non-hygroscopic, non-corrosive flux encased in an aluminum / silicon alloy. The eutectic composition melts over the narrow temperature range of 1070°F to 1080°F (577°C to 582°C). The recommended brazing range is 1080°F to 1120°F (582°C to 604°C).
ALUMICORE A718 can be used for manual torch brazing of aluminum with oxy / acetylene or fuel / air torches. It can also be used in atmospheric furnaces, automatic torch / wire feed systems, and induction brazing processes.
ALUMICORE A718 is available as wire, rod, and rings. Standard wire diameters are 0.063" (1.6mm), 0.076" (1.9mm) and 0.090"(2.3mm). Standard rod lengths are 18" (457mm) and 36" (914mm). Rings are manufactured to customer specifications.
ALUMICORE A718 complies with AWS A5.8, BAlSi-4, AMS 4185, AA 4047, and EN1044 Al 104.
