SILVABRITE® / SILVABRITE "S"™ Solders

SILVABRITE Silver/Tin soldering alloys have been engineered specifically for field repair. These Silver/Tin alloys have been specially formulated to make difficult repairs swiftly and confidently. Use SILVABRITE for fast melting, free flowing jobs. Where a plastic or wider melting point is desired, select SILVABRITE "S". Because of its cadmium free and lead-free composition, SILVABRITE is an approved and widely used alloy for the plumbing and building industries. Silver/Tin solders are low temperature, lead-free solders that can be used on most ferrous and non-ferrous metals, including stainless steel, bronze, brass and, to a very limited extent, aluminum. Use WOLVERINE GENERAL PURPOSE LIQUID or PASTE SOLDERING FLUX when using SILVABRITE.

WOLVERINE 50/50, 40/60, 60/40 Tin/Lead Solders

These solders are Tin/Lead compositions which can be used to solder copper, and most copper alloys, high nickel alloys and steel. WOLVERINE GENERAL PURPOSE LIQUID or PASTE SOLDERING FLUX is required when using Tin/Lead solders. Common wire solders are used principally in the plumbing industry. They are not employed in air conditioning and refridgeration industries where more stringent specifications, in terms of joining parameters and ability to withstand vibration, are necessary. Use one of our reliable SILVALOY® brazing alloys or, depending on your specific application, our versatile general purpose SILVABRITE.
